John Lewis Warranty Information
How does your John Lewis warranty work?
There is no single standard John Lewis warranty, as appliance guarantees depend upon the manufacturer. As an additional benefit from John Lewis, standard warranties also come with an additional year’s service guarantee for free.
The guarantee period for John Lewis brand electrical appliances is 3 years. Televisions carry a 5 year guarantee.
My product is faulty
Before arranging to have your electronics fixed, you can follow a few simple steps yourself to ensure you really need a technician’s help:
Look for signs of damage
- Check the manufacturer’s handbook to see if there is a fault-finding checklist
- Contact the local John Lewis stone with your model number and date of purchase
- Remember that the John Lewis warranty is transferable on second hand goods to the new owner of the appliance if it still falls within the guarantee time frame.
My product is no longer under guarantee
We offer you easy one-stop cover for all your household appliances and electronics from only £12.49 a month.
When making a large electronic purchase, the warranty or guarantee on a product helps you feel better that your investment is protected. When you look around your home, many of the appliances are a few years old and no longer have guarantees but will be costly to fix if they break.
Our policies offer an easy solution to that by covering multiple appliances as long as they are not older than 8 years and as long as they have no pre-existing faults.
